(LizzieBelle82) Listia has brought a new phase in my life. I have lost interest in just about everything lately, but Listia helped me “come back to life”, so to speak. Sometimes you “meet” people that are genuinely kind or who even genuinely could use some help. I met a 70-year-old grandmother and she was so sweet so I surprised her with a bunch of office stuff for her grandkids. I didn’t do it for points; more of a thank you or anything else in return. I did it because she is part of what makes up Listia and part of what has helped me feel alive again. Finding cool stuff and “fighting” through auctions is fun, but it’s the people that matter and the stories you hear. That’s why I love Listia!

When I first joined, I was more thinking it might be a nice way for me to be able to get gifts for my Fiancé without him knowing about them in advance. We both are disabled and live on a very fixed income, so buying gifts… well, there just isn’t money for that! With Listia, I have the ability to get my whole family and friends gifts now. I think the best part of Listia are the friendships I’ve made here! From the moment I joined, I had people taking time from their busy lives to help me learn how to navigate my way around both the website and learn the android app. The people here on Listia have become my second family for sure!! I had to think awhile to decide if I had anything to offer for auction interesting enough to snag my first win! (It was a successful auction and I was hooked!) As you know, I frequently spend hours checking my bids, writing messages, and greeting new fans. Thank you Listia for putting up with me and for having such an engaging website. I meet people every day and don’t have to leave the house! I LOVE IT!

I am really confused with this new way it doesn’t give advance options and I am not sure how to put a set amount of credits I want for an item I put up for auction
I’d like to know how does one start a new blog article on here? i have made some friends on listia. my problem with the site currently is their apparent lack of concern for those people that actually “play their game” and put in for shipping. when i joined 2.5 years ago maximum buy in was at 400creds/1$… not it is 2137creds/1$. so what gives? why are they super inflating their own market thus killing us proper seller that do put up the shipping $ rather than do surveys for credits. also i ahve noticed there are violators on listia that have purchased 100’s of auctions without getting rid of one single thing… which leads to two options either they spent a ton of $ to get credits or they found a way to abuse the system and truly get free s**t….. i’d like to start a discussion among the listia users about this hyper inflation we been experiencing last 4 months… credit values went from 1245/$ to over 3500/$.. it’s becoming preposterous!!!! thus instead of saving credits up to buy something nice.. those of us with two brain cells realize we gotta spend credits as fast as we make them. really lame!!!!
I Just Love Listia I’ve been here for a while now. I have learned to set the amounts I get and have found that the Gin option is awesome! I have Used the Gin option several times and they continue to buy with this option. Wish it was less Credits that they take tho so I could give a better deal.
