Cyber Week 2021!

November is here again and that means it’s time for another Cyber Week! This year we’re doing a full Points giveaway for all the prizes and there are 37 total clues to unlock (3 more than usual)!

The crossword rules and format are similar to all previous crossword promotions, but just in case you’re new or you’ve forgotten, the details are below. Since there are split prizes, you’ll want to keep answers to yourselves instead of sharing them 😉  We’ll do our best to remove published answers where we can, but let everyone have fun and try to figure out the answers to the crossword. It’s not meant to be SUPER hard, but it is meant to be fun!

Cyber Week Crossword Promo Details

To get to the puzzle on 11/29/21 click the “Cyber Week!” link at the top of the Listia web site, or click the “Cyber Week!” link in the menu of either of our mobile apps.

  • Live 11/29/21 through 12/6/21 (PST)
  • Unlock the crossword puzzle by sharing on Facebook or Twitter
  • Once shared, one clue in the crossword puzzle should be unlocked
  • Special Listia Crossword goals will be released every day throughout the promotion. Each of these goals will unlock a certain number of crossword puzzle clues and may even reward you with Points.
  • Listing goal categories: Electronics, Health & Beauty, Clothing/Shoes & Accessories, Collectibles, Toys & Hobbies, and Video Games
  • Once the clues are unlocked you may enter the answers in the crossword puzzle
  • Each time you successfully answer sets of crossword puzzle clues you will be automatically eligible to win 6 different tiered prizes
    • 5 Answers – 10 random members that answer 5 clues will win 1,000 PTS
    • 10 Answers – 5 random members that answer 10 clues will win 5,000 PTS
    • 16 Answers – 5 random members that answers 16 clues will win 10,000 PTS
    • 22 Answers
      • 3 random members that answer 22 clues will win 15,000 PTS
      • 50,000 PTS will be distributed evenly amongst everyone that answers 22 clues (eg if 100 members qualify, each person will get 1,000 PTS)
    • 28 Answers – 2 random member that answers 28 clues will win 25,000 PTS
    • 37 Answers
      • 1 random members that answer all 37 clues will win 50,000 PTS
      • 100,000 PTS will be distributed evenly amongst everyone that answers all 37 clues (eg if 100 members fully complete the crossword puzzle, each person will get 1,000 PTS)
  • There are 37 total clues, but there will be enough goals to unlock ~54 clues (you don’t have to do EVERY Listia Crossword goal to complete the puzzle)
  • The last Listia Crossword goals will be live on 12/6/21 (PST). Once these goals end, the contest is over and you will no longer be able to unlock clues or enter answers.
  • Winners will be chosen 1-2 weeks after the promotion ends and will be contacted via Zendesk ticket or Listia private message for information about your prize!

Welcome EXP!

If you’ve checked in to Listia or opened one of our apps, you probably noticed EXP has launched! EXP is a rebranding of our benefits program where members get discounts and bonuses based on their Listia activity. Thank you for being loyal Listia members and we appreciate your patience with any issues you’ve come across with the switch! Please let us know if you see any bugs by sending us a ticket.

EXP replaces Props

EXP is a direct replacement for Props. For everyone that has earned Pending Props, we have issued the equivalent amount of EXP to get you to the same benefits level. You’ll see a “Listia Member EXP” grant in your EXP activity page and your level should be the same or better than your Props level as of 11/9/21. EXP are internal experience points used for our member benefits program, are not redeemable, and can not be taken off Listia.

EXP earning, levels, and benefits

The way you earn EXP and the benefits you get are the same as before so there is no change there. The amount of EXP that you earn is slightly different than the amount of Pending Props you used to earn. The amount of Pending Props earned for each action used to vary based on the market rate of Props at any given moment. We’ve simplified the program and the earned EXP amounts will be consistent from day to day. Because of this you’ll probably notice that you have a larger EXP balance and level requirement compared to the previous program with Props. Just know that you’ll be earning more EXP for all your activity on Listia and your existing benefits are the same!

What happens with Props?

All the Pending Props that you earned over the last year are still in your account for one more month and you can see your Props activity in your account. You can claim those available Pending Props into your own wallet pending any KYC application process. After December 16, 2021 we are no longer allowed to process Pending Props claims into wallets and this feature will be discontinued. Issuing Pending Props has been discontinued and we are no longer adjusting your Listia Props benefit level based on your Props balances (including Props in a connected wallet).

Say Hello to EXP!

Over the next few days we’ll be switching out Props for EXP! For all you old timers this will bring back a few memories from years ago when we had XP except this is a rebranding of our existing benefits program. We’ve had a lot of positive feedback about the benefits that we added when we introduced Props so all those benefits will remain intact. The way you accumulate EXP and the benefits you get will use the same system that is live today.

You’ll need to download new iOS and Android apps, but otherwise the transition should be seamless for you. We’ll have some exact dates finalized over the next few days so stay tuned!
