Listia is back at it again with a Cyber Week crossword promotion!!! This year we are giving away a total of 38 MILLION credits!!! The most we have ever given out on a promotion!!!

Rules and format are similar to all previous crossword promotions, but just in case you’re new or you’ve forgotten, the details are below. Since there are a couple split credit prizes, you’ll want to keep answers to yourselves instead of sharing them 😉

In the past we’ve had some members report issues on their Android devices and in most cases we have not been able to reproduce the issues. If you are using an Android device and are having issues with the crossword puzzle saving, loading, entering answers, etc. we suggest you use a computer and log on via web browser. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Cyber Week 2017 Crossword Details

To get to the puzzle on 11/27, click the “Cyber Week!” link at the top of the Listia web page, or click the “Cyber Week!” link in the menu of either of our mobile apps.

• Live 11/27/17 through 12/4/17
• Unlock the crossword puzzle by sharing on Facebook or Twitter
• Once shared, one clue in the crossword puzzle should be unlocked
• Special Listia Crossword goals will be released every day through Monday, 12/4/17. Each of these goals will unlock a certain number of crossword puzzle clues and may even reward you with credits.
• Listing goal categories: Electronics, Health & Beauty, Clothing/Shoes & Accessories, Collectibles, Toys & Hobbies, and Video Games
• Once the clues are unlocked you may enter the answers in the crossword puzzle
• Each time you successfully answer sets of crossword puzzle clues you will be automatically eligible to win 6 different tiered prizes
  • 5 Answers –5 random members that answer 5 clues will win a $5 Amazon gift card
  • 10 Answers – 1 random member that answers 10 clues will win 1,000,000 credits
  • 16 Answers – 2 random members that answers 16 clues will win a $50 Amazon gift card
  • 22 Answers
    • 1 random member that answers 22 clues will win 2,000,000 credits
    • 10,000,000 credits will be distributed evenly amongst everyone that answers all 22 clues (eg if 100 members fully complete the crossword puzzle, each member will get 100,000 credits)
  • 28 Answers – 2 random members that answers 28 clues will a $75 Amazon gift card
  • 34 Answers
    • 1 random member that answers all 34 clues will win 5,000,000 credits
    • 20,000,000 credits will be distributed evenly amongst everyone that answers all 34 clues (eg if 100 members fully complete the crossword puzzle, each person will get 200,000 credits)
• There are 34 total clues, but there will be enough goals to unlock ~55 clues (you don’t have to do EVERY Listia Crossword goal to complete the puzzle)
• The last Listia Crossword goals will be live on 11/27/17 (PST). Once these goals end, the contest is over and you will no longer be able to unlock clues or enter answers.
• Winners will be chosen a week after the promotion ends and will be contacted via Zendesk ticket or Listia private message

Over the last year, we have been working hard on ways to make Listia more valuable for the community. Through many product iterations and feedback from everyone, we have found that a great way to grow and improve the quality and amount of cool items on Listia is to give buyers and sellers more value for their Credits. Up until now, only a handful of Listia members have been able to sell their Credits, but we want every member to enjoy these benefits. So today, we are excited to announce a new currency, called Ink!

Ink will bring a much needed upgrade to the Listia Credit system that has been in place since 2009. Once completed, members with Listia Credits will be able to exchange their Credits for a new, improved currency called Ink. Ink will still function almost exactly like Credits on Listia today, but with one huge difference: You will be able to move your Ink in and out of Listia. Soon after its release, we plan to have payment apps for sending/receiving Ink, allowing you to use it much like how you would use PayPal with services like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. We are also working with existing marketplaces to support and accept Ink, as well as exchanges that would allow you to sell Ink directly for cash.

Our vision is to turn your Listia Credits into a new currency that is useful not only on Listia, but also outside of Listia. Over time, you should be able to exchange it for real money or use it on other marketplaces. We also want to fix the long running Credit inflation issue once and for all. The total amount of the new Ink currency is capped, so nobody can create more out of thin air.

Although it is not quite ready, we are announcing this news publicly today so our entire community knows that Credits will receive a big upgrade in the near future. With the exception of purchased Credits, all other existing Listia Credits and any new Credits earned through selling items, offers, and promos from now until the launch of Ink will be exchanged for Ink at a rate that guarantees everyone’s value and buying power remains exactly the same. Purchased Credits will remain as Credits and can still be used for anything on Listia with no limitations. We will also be announcing new ways to earn even more Ink just by buying and selling on Listia.

Don’t really care about Ink? Don’t worry! Rest assured that besides the name change, you can use it just like you use Credits on Listia today, and your spending power will remain the same. The transition will be seamless for all Listia members.

We will keep everyone updated as we get closer to launching the upgrade, but in the meantime you can read more about the project here.
