allstar2_062315(NancyBeck) Listia has helped me get quite a few gifts for my 77 year old mother. She is mostly blind, and I found everything for her here … rings, clothes, Walking Dead items … I feel I can spoil her so easily here on Listia. I even got fabric and made living room curtains to match mom’s chair blanket. It’s been the best experience I’ve had online. And I’ve made so many friends, too. I hope it keeps going for so long; it’s a great community. (Pictured is a photo of my mother).

allstar3_062315(forrestfireb1) I started Listia in August 2014. I am disabled (bad back) and have depression (because I can’t get out like I once did). My computer is my way of connecting to the outside world. When I found out about Listia, I was a tad scared at first about what to expect. As time went on, I have found many things to auction off. I really love the friendship and camaraderie of this site. I have met many friends here, and even some in my hometown! Since becoming a member of Listia, I have gotten so much better with my Bi-polar and back pain, that it doesn’t bother me as much anymore, Listia, to me, is a virtual doctor. Thank you Listia and all the friends I have made. I have something to look forward to each and every day. I’m having so much fun doing this that I’m so glad I’m alive and get to keep on living in a manner that I used to not be able to do. and I have Listia.com to thank for all you have given me. I just can’t say it enough… THANK YOU LISTIA!!!

allstar1_062315(iwhisenhunt) Just wanted to say thank you for making a free site. Because of Listia, my fiancé and I have our rings so we can finnaly get married. He didn’t want to have a wedding without the rings and Listia made it possible. So I just want to say thank you for making our wedding dreams a reality.

  1. Loretta Davis says:

Time for Listia to remove Confederate flag stickers, dvds, etc. Follow what EBay, Walmart, NASCAR, are doing……

  2. Removing a flag is not going to change the evil that we allow to cover the earth! If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek MY face, “THEN” shall I hear for heaven, and shall renew their lands!!!

  3. Don’t understand the Confederate flag dilemma It is a part of American history. We fought for our rights. The flag is not evil. The evil is the people who want to suppress others and their thoughts and ideas, whatever their color or nationality. Until we all look beyond the exterior, there will be evil. Turn to Christ for humanity.

    • That’s my thoughts. Displaying a Confederate flag is no more a sign that someone is evil than wearing a cross is a sign that someone is a Christian. Evil can wear many faces, just as Satan can appear as an angel of light.

  4. Forrest Branton says:

I can’t believe that grown up people are so in a uproar on a simple thing as a Flag, that was flown hundreds of years ago, all this flag meant was that we were from the south, that’s all and nothing more, but some people will make it into a big deal, because I think they are just really bored, or very insecure of themselves. Come on folks, get a real life, there are much greater things to worry or whine about nowadays. You won’t have to worry about the flag in a couple months anyway.

  5. I may not be from the South, but I agree anyway.
