(jenfrancis) I am a five year veteran as both a Listia seller and buyer. I wanted to write to say how much I thoroughly enjoy using the site. Last year, I won 100,000 credits after sleuthing out puzzle pieces for the Cyber Monday Mystery. It was fun and worth it. When I solved the puzzle, I knew I was among the first! It was very early in the morning on the third day of “hunting”. I was thinking “well, maybe they will give me a special badge, or maybe a Listia T-shirt”. I can not believe I have 100,000 credits just to spend on myself. I am a stay-at-home mom to triplets ages 6 and twins age 4 (yes, a handful). Most of my credits are won by trading their old items and getting new things for them. I now have these credits to splurge on myself! Thank you for the many years of fun and friendships. I look forward to many more.

I got crafts and clothes for my daughter, tools and sports equipment for my son and I even got a new TV for my family! Everything was new and we had a wonderful Christmas. I joined listia in 2014,I found myself struggling to find dog items,because I rescued So many that need clothes,collars,etc,I found listia and they had it all.now the dogs I save can be comfortable and warm,plus I have five grandkids,and listia has so much for kids also,well truth is,listia has it all.you are missing out if you don’t have listia,always get great quality items,such a wonderful experience, looking forward to many more years with listia.thank you.

hi, you got it the credits are out of control rather the one who is controlling their value,, i feel i deserve an apology from someone —i first joined last year ( cant quite remember date so guessing a yr may be more) the credit were values at 1000 = 1 dollar i was new other newbies thought wow 1000 thats a lot to bid meanwhile the experienced members knew 1000 isnt much Well everything was going far higher than i could afford so wasnt able to win anything nice I Decided to work very hard and not spend till i had enough to win i remember how excited i was when it hit 200.000 WOW Thats 200 dollars i slept like a b baby knowing i was waking up to win my first big auction oNLY That item i dreamed on wasn’t going to be mine after all OVER NIGHT They surprised us changing the value ROBBED ME Of HALF MY EARNINGS OVER NIGHT ! All sudden credits were worth 2000 = 1 dollar so my 200 became 100 in value ,my item was outbid ,people bid higher because credits worth less BUT IT DIDN’T STOP THERE THOU T SHOULD HAVE ,,
WHY DID MY EARNINGS HAVE TO TAKE A CUT Because the values were changed shouldnt mine be worth what they were worth when i earned them BANKS DONT TAke 50 % over night and i didn’t think this was a stock market game but it went on and quickly till now , thou it fluxuates daily to make a dollar it is 5000 = 1 dollar but i earned those 200.000 credits when they were worth $200 NOT When they were worth $50 i know it be hard to accomodate everyone when values change but something should been offered when i was ROBBED BY THE SITE I CONTINUE TO LOVE 50 PERCENT OF MY EARNINGS THAT FIRST TIME 100.000 CREDITS OF MY 200K or $100 of my $200 dollars worth gone because someone changed a ratio over night ,
,,,, WAS IT EXTREMELY PROFITABLE THAT NIGHT ? WAS THAT THE PLAN ? AND WHY DIDNT IT TELL ME WHEN I JOINED THE VALUE OF MY CREDITS COULD DECLINE AND AT THAT RATE !!!! .
Guess you can tell i’m not over it ( sorry this comments probably not where it should be ) EASY TO SEE IT STILL HURTS AND YES I FEEL THOU I BEEN ROBBED BY MY BANKER , It isn’t going away i accepted it ? NO Not that first take half my value 100 dollars takes a lot to earn when its done a few cents at a time ( after expenses thats all most are back then ) i know when values dropped first time in half everyone with credits should been given 50 percent more added to their accounts after that everything was fair could been a respectful move on behalf of listia OK I ACCEPT IT NOW That the values go up ( and down Haaaaa not ) but do i accept or feel less robbed that first 100 bucks NO , I Wish i could let it go ,,this is first i spoke of it in awhile and think if i dont stop ill get sick of hearing myself too , .

ikm not laughing but kind of,, just re read that dreadfully long messag the topic was CREDIT VALUES / CREDIT DECLINES – A Year ago values were 1000 = $1. , in the very long ( sorry again 4 that ) i just read and what i said them Dec, 1215 credit values were up to 5000 + $1. well haaaaa NOW IT’S INCREASED OR DECREASED HOW EVER YOU CHOSE TO LOOK IT THIS APRIL 2016 8049 OR 8490( last time i checked won’t know till i go onsite 8090 ( or whatever ) = $1 Thats a HUGE STRETCH From the 1000 = $1 , heck we have to get MORE THAN 50.000 CREDITS JUST TO BARELY COVER The shipping ( half the cost in some cases ) of a very small it packet =(
Hello I had got on Listia at first didn’t understand it, but now got it down packed I have got so much stuff off here and got to text alot of good people, and alot of people love the stuff I have on here up for bids,This one lady had won a very beautiful outfit from me and won her competition in it, and she had got so much more off me she still waits for me to put more on I love Listia, thank you Robin
i still love listia and tell everyone so it’s just that night / day left a very sour taste that stuck,, Most time im not thinking of it and id hope one day i do it didn’t bother me anymore like it does now still all these months later ,lol,, each time i wondered who and how hard hit were others / besides me
i am so thankful for the members ive met and the MANY ITEMS I HAVE Received and more than i won some members are so original they send surprise items Once a lady sent the wee tiny item i won , she packed it in a very large box and completely covered up that item with a BUNCH OF ITEMS I Had never seen before,all new THANKS TO ALL THE MEMBERS Who follow thru of course thats number one but i want thank LL THOSE WHO ADD SPECIAL TOUCHES From decorating their envelopes to adding something extra , for making my day , someones day BETTER !!!!! Ok i had been a listia years ago. Was doing good sent my auctions had gd feedback. I loved it. I told many ppl about listia not for credits but so they can get things for there family that they couldn’t afford otherwise. It’s hard when your disabled and can’t afford things u need when your on a fix income. So I would put my auctions up send with the last penny I had to ship for free. I try to help ppl when I can. So anyways I told a lady in my apartment complex to sign up because she needed baby stuff. And she made lots of jewelry so she did and it worked out for her.one time she came over asked if she could use my computer because her cell phone was out of service. She log in her listia a count and it log me out. So when I tryed to login back in listia blocked me I lost all my credits just because I helped a friend out by letting her check her auctions on listia. I asked why they didn’t get back finally saying I have another a count on my listia. So I was mad and sad because I earned to by my disabled daughter a gift and I could now and I spent everything I had to ship. So anyways I heard listia changed and got better. I sign up agan I after two years n I am doing gd trying earn for Xmas gifts n guess what I have lots of credits. And now I can’t log in. Why? They won’t even answer me I am very upset. It’s not right what u are doing. I would like in my account barterQueen75
