(angeldove44) I have been a member since 2009 and this is the only place I shop at for everything I need. i love Listia! It’s the best place to go and find whatever you need for free. I’ve gotten birthday gifts for my grandkids and family and also gotten Christmas gifts for them, too. To me, it’s better then Walmart. There is no better place to shop at then Listia! I’ve also gotten a lot of things i need that I could never buy at stores. I can’t believe I’m on Listia; it feels like home 🙂 i just wanted to shared my story and tell you thank you so much for having Listia be a part of my life.
(betsysimmons90) When I found Listia, I was moving in to a new place and really didn’t have that much as I had been living with my son and his family. I was able to get curtains for my living room and bathroom, measuring cups, decor and so more (too many to mention). I don’t know what I would have done without Listia. I also met a new friend that also has Fibromyalgia like me. Not a day goes by that I am not on Listia at least once a day. I just dearly love Listia and don’t know what I would do without it, so hopefully it is around a long, long time. Thank you to Listia and all the great Listians for all the wonderful auctions.
(Vanessa814) I have been a part of Listia for a little over 3 years now. I stumbled upon it while on Facebook. I really didn’t get involved with it, until about a year ago. I was pregnant with a boy, and knew I would need things. I already had a girl, so I used Listia to get rid of those clothes. I was able to get different things for my son. Listia is a great site! Wish I would’ve been this active in it when I first found it!

I ran into Listia while browsing my face book account about a year ago. So happy I did, because things I have won I would never have gotten simply because I can’t avoid extras or frills. In addition, I have met some really nice people some of whom have become friends, which is fabulous for me because I’m a people person. There are always new and different things here in our community so sometimes I just browse. Listia, truly the place to go and to be.
I have been with Listia for over 4 years now and I have become very disillusioned by it. It used to be a lot of fun, a place I spent hours at but things have really changed for the worse. There are so many people who cheat & lie and are VERY rude!. Some don’t follow the rules and nothing is done about it. You get ripped off and you have to wait 5 days to get your credits refunded. I don’t think some of Mods play fair. Sometimes all you have to do is read someone’s feedback to know if they are on the up & up or not, it’s not rocket science. And it is possible that Listia could start charging us to give away our own things? Are you serious? I have spoken with many of us long time honest Listians and they feel the same way. Some have already left and a lot more are on their way out. I will probably be picked on for stating my opinion but that will just prove my point. I know a lot of you have a different opinion but that is your right as I have a right to mine. Like my profile pic says “RESPECT” which we ALL deserve.

when i first joined listia, i thought, this is just another site that works like most survey sites or something. i wasn’t an active member for the first 12 – 18 mths. then one day i was just surfing around in my laptop and so i decided to take the time to read the intro., and how to get started. i should’ve . . . i could’ve but didn’t. . . . . become an active member. (i bet i missed out on so many cool and unbelievable things) today, listia is the first thing i do online in the morning and last thing at night. and i’m constantly checking in and out throughout the day. I’M ADDICTED————–HARD!! and i love it! i’m already 75% finished with xmas gifts this year and all i’ve spent is the cost of shipping items out (which is minimal at best). and since i’ve been out of work for a while now, listia is a blessing for me. thank you so much for this site and to those who have help create it. AWESOME, AWESOME
