Yes i am with you there, the credit inflation has gotten extremely out of hand. A lot of ppl can’t afford to buy so they do surveys and such. Some of the links that they take us to are info stealing links(at least according to Panda Protection). Also they say free but really are not..Nonetheless I will continue on and do what I can to keep a pocket full of credits to buy for my grandchildren. Listia has helped me out in so many ways, so with that said, I guess I can deal with the credit inflation as long as it doesn’t go really high.
This isn’t really a reply, but I didn’t know how else to get this out there. Just returned after about a year, and what the @#!$% is going on? You used to be able to get a $15 Amazon Card for 30-40,000 credits. Seriously. Totally ridiculous!!
Yeah Amy I feel your pain too. Ahh the good ole’ days. I still share my “wares” with others but the thrill is gone. As such, the number of auctions I list has gone down. 😦
100% inflation from June to August. That’s ridiculous. Too bad greed from the site owners is killing this site. It was a good idea to start with.

I like, I like! Never could make one of these goals. But, I’m always up for a challenge! Asking a dumb question cause it’s not specified; The winning bids must end at 200,000 credits or higher, I understand, is that what’s showing in the final bid? Or is it after listia gets their cut, so it has to be above to reflect that the seller actually gets 200K? I always want to make sure. Thank you everyone, and I’ll be having some awesome listings in a couple of days.
I’m having a hard time understanding this myself, so, if I start an auction that has a GIN at 200,000 cr, & 10% is taken out for Listia’s cut, it leaves me less than 200,000 cr. or do I have to put it up for auction at a higher price than I want for it, then after the 10% is taken out, it adds up to 200,000cr. or more. Thanks, sorry, but I’m a tad slow in these kinds of things, lol.

Your listing has to be won by someone before you get it. This isn’t a listing goal but one that has to be sold first. Sell 5 items at least 200,000 or more!

I just have to ask why these goals always exclude digital delivery items? A lot of digital items don’t go for that much but if I sale a digital code versus the blu-Ray for that much why won’t it count? Why are digital item sellers excluded from goals?
Ok does this mean we have to have a 200000 win on each of the five or 200000 equaling in the 5 listing.
You have to have 5 auctions that each end in 200,000 or more. Hope that helps 😉

So you SOLD 5 items for 200,000 credits each? You get the credits when someone wins the auction if the 200,000 credit auction ends without a winner it doesn’t count. Someone must win you auctions before you get the reward. Hope this helps

Your listing just need to end with a winner at 200,000 or more
If you listed the auction after 3am on June 1st and it ends with a winner and ends with 200,000 credits or more it should count
The last contest, I completed all the goals except 1 puzzle. I never received any of the items for the contest completion. Two of the requirements mentioned, every one that completes gets something but I never received anything. killed my interest

Im loving listia already though some of the options for getting creds are borked like the walmart one and swag pain in the rump bucks that deactivated my account because i already made one. It wasn’t me that made a account but some one who previously had my ip. But yeh got some stuff coming already and is only my second day here. Now gona have to get some stuff together for listing to really have some fun :p
And oh yeh made that 5m giveaway goal in 2 days flat as well :p

question on week 1 goal: did the items selling for 200k have to be listed in the first week? or anytime as long as the listings end by June 30?
I’ve had 3 auctions this week end in well over the 75,000 credits needed to win the extra 20,000 credits as described in the week three goals. Yet, I still have not received the goal completion bonus or even been shown that any progress has been made toward the goal. It says 0 out of 75000 for goal progression. What’s going on with that?

What is up with this Credit inflation?!?!?!??! As of Today 7-15-16. $1.00 is worth 12,900 Points!!! Great for people that buy credits, but TERRIBLE For people that Sell things on Here. People ask about GIN Auctions on some of our items, and only offer 5000 points for something that is worth $10-$12.00. Do people and Listia Realize that 5000 points won’t even cover the cost of the shipping (NOT EVEN a $.047 cent Stamp!!) ?!?! let alone the cost of the item !?!?!?
Listia… PLEASE take into consideration of the Sellers on here BEFORE you raise the Point value to Dollar Value, because without the sellers, this site would be BUST.
I agree with you 100%. Not understanding about the credit changes! Listia was so much better when I first joined 4 years ago.
FYI, as of 7-18-16 if you are buying your credits… $1.00 will get you 13,100 points !!
For the buyers that’s great.. for the sellers that’s terrible. Now in order to break even with a first class stamp, you need an auction to get a MINIMUM of 7000 points just to cover the cost of a .47 cents stamp!!!.
Is Listia ONLY looking at buyer side and don’t care about the sellers on here? Don’t they realize that sellers will start putting less quantity or less valuable things on for auction in hope that people won’t bid on them. If they raise it to 15,000 per $1.00, im seriously going to consider cashing in my points and saying Good Bye to Listia.

It is unreal, to the point I will barely list anymore. Seriously thinking about deleting account. No one wants to spend a whole bunch of credits. Basically you have to give your items away now…..how very sad. I mainly list Vintage Jewelry but every now and again will just have fun and list whatever, always offering free shipping with tracking. When shipping cost more than a huge lot of kitchen items for example….its time for me to move on. There is no reason why these credits should cost this much. I need to make up my mind what to do. Husband just lost his job for having to take time off to take me to the doctor so I don’t have the extra money for credits, postage, and materials to ship in like I used to!!!! Would really be nice to see some changes made!!!!!

Listia inflation is truly out of control. I would like to see a correction, much like a stock market correction. They don’t even offer more credits for a larger dollar purchase anymore. It’s a simple flat rate conversion. That means both sellers and buyers are losers. I too will be forced to stop listing (sadly) because buyers will not bid even $1 to $2 much less the amount needed to cover the cost of shipping. I joined to list, earn credits so I could then use those credits to purchase. It’s no longer working.

The way Listia keeps raising the $ to point value every day, it’s not going to matter that much about the New Shipping feature, because nobody will be using it because all of the sellers will have left Listia because they are killing the sites for sellers.

And for those that think it’s the buyers and sellers creating this inflation and Listia doesn’t have any control over the inflation, think about it again.
Listia has the option to raise and lower the point value and make it whatever they really want it to. Since it’s just points, what do they care how many credits they give out as long as they get the Cash coming in. When is the last time you could take your credits and bring it to a 7-11 and get something…. NEVER… on the other hand.. Listia gets Cash from the ADS and Cash from the people that Buy their credits.
Sounds like a Win Win Deal for Listia and a Lose Lose deal for Listia Buyers and Sellers.

Well, it is clearly obvious that Listia doens’t care about their sellers and ONLY care about the CASH they can get from people that buy their credits because they keep raising and raising the $ to point value higher and higher with no end in site.
The only end is going to be when the site has no more sellers and no more buyers… and they will be scratching their heads wondering.. “where did we go wrong” DUH… people have been commenting on this problem for over 6 months but they just have their blinders on and just keep laughing their way to the bank as people cash in their points and also buy their points.
