Today Listia launched and we have been overwhelmed with the great response we’ve been getting.  Every email, comment, tweet and IM has really made us feel like our long hours and hard work are appreciated.  Thank you everyone!

Some nitty gritty …

What we launched today is the core of what we have envisioned for the future.  Hopefully it’s enough to help start build a community that’s fun and beneficial for everyone.  “Synergy” … haha jk.  We have a lot of things on our “to do” list so stay tuned.

We knew we were going to have to do this eventually, but it was just one of those flows that got the all too familiar “1-2-3 not it!” between the 2 of us.  Anyway, you can now edit your auctions via “My Account -> Auctions Listed” as long as the auction doesn’t have any bids on it yet.  You can also add photos, but we still need to add management of previously uploaded photos … maybe tomorrow … or … right now, even though it’s 3AM.

Listia.com is now up and running!  We’ve sort of soft launched and the site is now live for anyone to use and participate in.  We’d love to hear feedback and bug reports over the next couple weeks to get things down just right.  We’ll also be working in parallel on the next set of features we want.  One of the top things on our list is to get our iPhone app out so users can post and bid from anywhere.

In the beginning we’ll have a few promotional items up for auction so be on the lookout for some neat stuff you could win.
