This is terribly confusing. I clicked on one of the charity listings and it doesn’t say anything about being a charity listing. Please explain these things before you broadcast an e-mail. Hi Nancy, thanks for the comment. We still haven’t implemented an official Charity category/label for listings, so we’re not permitting any charity mentions in listing descriptions to prevent people from falsely promising to donate their credits. We didn’t want these details to prevent us from launching our new charity campaigns before the holidays. And we didn’t want it to stop us from listing staff auctions for charity. :)Hope this helps!
no it really doesn’t help if you aare allowed to do charity auctions so should other people why put it out there if you are not going to implement it sounds stupid otherwise fix the link to reflect your answers on here why have a broken link? Someone drop the ball??
I love supporting charities, and this gave me an idea..If I knew of a charity that needed help with donations-monetary or non-monetary, would it be ok for me to advertise a ‘Dollar Drive’ during one of my auctions? Asking for 1 dollar ONLY kind of evens out the playing field…and allows many more people to pitch in. Also could I offer a small token of appreciation-again-the same thing for all- maybe a simple handmade bracelet, or a McDonalds $1 coupon -to everyone who gave a dollar?
This would be a phenomenal option to offer all sellers all the time, a “charity” option. Being able to designate an item to a certain place or even a family or town in a tragedy situation. Just a thought 🙂 Thank you for a great site! – Packrat Nomad
How do I donate credits to the charity? And or how do I purchase the “STARS”
